Perfect Day!

Yesterday was Crafty Swap Day! We started by all bringing something for breakfast…fresh squeezed orange juice, my tri-berry scones, brown sugar candied bacon, strawberries to dip in marshmallow/cream cheese heaven and Euro quiche….with English Peas, Swiss Chard and French Sorrel…all freshly picked from Kelli’s Urban Farm!

We had our Spring/Easter Swap! So much fun! Each and every one was so amazing!

Lynne’s incredible…bunny “hotel”….she made the box and stained it. Then place a seed pod inside with tiny bunnies made out of pussy willows.

Now in my Living Room!

Julie’s sweet button bouquet….placed perfectly in a vintage salt shaker.

Now on a shelf in my bathroom!

Paula’s adorable deer box!

Now in my studio!

She also made a little ballerina for Kate!

So cute on a shelf in her room!

Paula was extra ambitious and made us each a lovely birdcage too!

Kelli made beautiful coasters with images of vintage stamps!

Now in my den!

Rachel made a super cute coffee filter flower hanging near my craft shelf.

And…I made these little bunny girls out of spun satin christmas ornaments, cupcake liners with pipe cleaner ears.

Just after Kate had finished her homework and I had Chicken Parmesan in the oven…Kelli invited us down to the farm. I brought a bottle of wine and Kate searched for eggs…..

chatted with the chickens….

and picked peas….eating them as she went!

Check out our treasures!!!  Makes me long for those upcoming summer days again! Perfect Day!!!!
